Looking back at Japan Energy Challenge 2019
LONDON, 14 January 2020 – Between the 5th and 8th of August, the Japan Energy Challenge Venture Competition opened its doors to energy innovators and provided them a platform to build relationships with our 9 Japanese corporate sponsors.
The 4 winners chosen on that day represent the culmination of a year-long commitment on part of the Japanese sponsors and the Japan Energy Challenge team to really understand global energy innovation trends and how these can potentially fit in with Japan’s energy transition.
Expectations were high during the event, with so many amazing companies discussing the ins and outs of their respective innovations. We caught up with some of the participants to hear more about their experience:
Although only 4 companies were selected as winners- Connected Energy, EVBox, Heliatek and KiWi Power- all participants had the chance to meet with sponsors and walk away with a partnership. We look forward to putting together an even more successful event in 2020, scouting starts now, follow this space for updates!
